As governments continue to expand fossil fuels projects despite climate warnings, rising living costs and growing community opposition, this session confronts the question: who truly benefits from extraction and who pays the price?</div><div><br></div><div>Set against the backdrop of ongoing public investment in coal, oil and gas while nature and communities remain under-resourced and under-protected, this conversation will unpack the failures of Australia’s extractive economy and the growing movement demanding a different future. Through film, storytelling and community dialogue, the session explores the urgent need to protect Country, respect cultural heritage and challenge projects operating without genuine community consent or social licence. </div><div><br></div><div>This is a conversation about accountability, courage and collective action and reimagining futures grounded in care for Country rather than corporate profit. </div></div></div><div><br></div>DocumentaryPT1H44M2026-07-07Aunty Josie Alex
