BEATS WORKING is our annual, curated mini-festival of the year’s best music documentaries plus some classics that demand to be seen again on the big screen.
We are excited to present; Big Mama Thornton: I Can’t Be Anyone But 179,154,96)Me, The Doors: When You’re Strange, Roots, Rock, Reggae with an introduction from Jamaican ska legend Stranger Cole with a pre-film DJ set from Mohair Slim. Don’t miss the definitive doc on the birth of house music, in Move Ya Body with pre-show tunes from legend Mz Rizk. Life in One Chord has a director Q&A and S/HE Is Still HER/E: is the official Genesis P’Orridge film. Plus two concert films, The Cure: The Show Of A Lost World and we revisit the ultimate concert film, Stop Making Sense.
